The congress, which will be held in The Olive Tree Hotel (Kyrenia-TRNC) with the support of IKSAD Institute (Economic Development and Social Research Institute), will be carried out by IKSAD Publishing House. "IV. International Congress of "Rural Areas and Ecology" within the framework of International Sustainable Development (RUDESU2023), aims to bring together qualified scientists from Türkiye and abroad, to present valuable research on Natural Sciences and Ecological Sciences, with priority to Rural Area Ecosystems, to share information and to create a common international platform. The congress will be held online and face-to-face between 05-06 October 2023 as a continuation of the International Conference titled "1st Sustainable Marine and Coastal Areas Development", abbreviated as MACODESU2015, which was held face-to-face and with the participation of Karadeniz Technical University between 18-20 September 2015, the congress titled "CITY" and "ECOLOGY" (CEDESU2021) within the framework of 2nd International Sustainable Urban Development was held online between 2-3 December 2021 and hosted by K.T.U. and 3rd "Mountain and Ecology" Congress (MEDESU2022) within the framework of International Sustainable Development which was held online between 20-21 October 2022 and hosted by Karadeniz Technical University. All three International Conferences and Congresses were successfully completed and abstracts, full texts and panel and exhibition books were published within the scope of all three international events. With the congress, which will be held for the fourth time this year, it is aimed to bring together all disciplines within the context of Natural Sciences as well as disciplines such as Social and Humanities and Architectural Sciences to create a common language and vision, to conduct scientific and technical discussions, and to provide multi-faceted information sharing for rural areas and ecosystems with interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary studies. RUDESU2023 meets the academic promotion criteria of the respective Institutions, including appointment to associate professorship and professorship positions, both in terms of the scientific and advisory board and the diversity of participating countries. In addition, the papers presented in the congress are also evaluated within the scope of Academic Incentives. The papers and panel presentations presented in the congress will be published in the Abstract Book with Turkish and English abstracts or in the full text book with full texts and also in the panel book with panel presentations and ISBN numbers will be included in all three books. In addition, participants who wish to submit their papers, which are only printed as "Abstract" in the Congress Book, can apply for publication in full text in the journals included in the TR Index given in the list below or scanned in international indexes, but it will be possible to publish them if appropriate within the scope of the journals' own publication policies and processes. For this reason, Journal processes have no relationship with the Congress Organizing Committee.
