We are very pleased to invite you to the 1st International Congress on Biosystems Engineering (ICOBEN2019) which will be held for the first time at international level in Turkey. The congress will be held on 24-27 September 2019 on the campus of Hatay Mustafa Kemal University located in Antakya, Hatay, Turkey which is home to the oldest civilizations in the history of humanity.
The main purpose of the congress is to create a venue to discuss the various current and near-future applications of engineering practices and means of operations used in Turkey and in the different parts of the world in the areas of Biosystems Engineering including Land and Water Resources Planning, Agricultural Machinery Systems, Energy Systems in Agriculture and Plant and Animal Production Structures (Planning of Greenhouses and Animal Shelters). In this context, many researchers and academicians in addition to the related entrepreneurs and manufacturers from Turkey and abroad will have the opportunity to transfer their experiences and ideas to their colleagues and stakeholders.
The congress, which will be held in the Antakya city of the Hatay province, which has many cultures, where people from many different religions find a living space in harmony and peace, has a sacred pilgrimage place for Christians and selected as the World Gastronomy City by UNESCO will offer not only an academic but also a different cultural perspective to the participants and the guests.
The official presentation language of the proceedings is English or Turkish. All full text proceedings must be in English or in Turkish with English abstract. All submitted proceedings will be evaluated by at least two reviewers in terms of scientific content and quality. All abstracts of the articles and full texts will be published in the Congress Proceedings E-Book. It is also planned that full papers of selected articles will be published in the Journal of Agricultural Faculty of Mustafa Kemal University while their abstracts will also be published in the Congress Proceedings E-Book.
In this respect, we invite all academicians, researchers, related entrepreneurs, manufacturers and post-graduate students to attend this exciting congress on the topics related to almost every stage of agricultural production.
