Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the organizing committee it is my great pleasure to welcome you in Istanbul, for the 20th International Metallurgy and Materials Congress (IMMC’2021).
The congress is organized and held by the invitation of the Training Center (METEM) of the UCTEA-Turkish Chamber of Metallurgical and Materials Engineers (10-12 June 2021, TUYAP Fair, Convention and Congress Center, Beylikdüzü).
The trade fairs ANKIROS/ANNOFER/TURKCAST 2021 (the biggest metallurgy meet-up in Eurasia, supported by leading national and international organizations and associations in the metallurgy sectors) will be held in the same convention center together with the IMMC’2021. This will give the participants a comprehensive overview to the state of the art of the wide range of metallurgy.
Starting from the first congress held in 1975, IMMC has been one of the prominent international conferences in the region in the field of metallurgy, materials science and engineering to promote scientific exchange and cooperation by bringing together different backgrounds and experiences coming from both academia and industry.
I hope this event will serve as an international platform to widen professional contact and create new opportunities, including establishing new collaborations.
I wish you a scientifically rewarding and a pleasurable experience in Istanbul.
